Fall Skin Prep & Routines

How do you transition from your Summer skincare regime to your Fall routines? Well, I am a firm believer that a good facial scrub, moisturizer and mask are the most essential items this season. Summer skin can be dehydrated from days out in the sun lying on the beach or sitting on patios sipping mojitos. Dry unhealthy skin can lead up to a dull looking complexion. Dehydrated skin is also the main reasons for fine lines and wrinkles.

Start off by exfoliating your skin with a gentle facial scrub in the evening. Make sure you are using ones with round beads or else it will tear your skin. Rinse off scrub entirely and then blot skin dry with a soft cotton towel. Apply a brightening and detox mask. Leave mask on according to the directions on the packaging. Remove mask and apply a moisturizing toner and then finish off with a good moisturizer. You are now all set for bed with clean skin that is breathable and is ready to rejuvenate in your sleep!
